§ Mr. Monroasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he is satisfied with the operation of the Safety of Sports Ground Act and the Green Code relating thereto; and if he will make a statement on progress with its implementation.
§ Mr. Barry JonesI have no reason to believe that the provisions of the Act will not operate effectively. Until safety certificates have been issued in respect of designated sports grounds, it would be premature to attempt any general assessment of the Act. The position will be kept under review.
