asked the Secretary of State for Energy whether he has approved any application by the National Coal Board for support from Community sources in respect of the stocking of coal during 1977; and by what amount stocking was supported during 1976.

At present, aid for coal stocking is not available from Community funds but the Commission has a scheme in preparation.
