asked the Secretary of State for Defence what progress has been made in deciding what is to replace the Thunderbird surface-to-air missiles, having regard to his answer to the hon. Member for Tynemouth on 15th December 1975 that they are unlikely to be "worth keeping in service for more than a very few years.
