asked the Minister of Overseas Development if the increase of 9,500,000 units of account authorised by Cmnd. 6907 in respect of the Development Fund of the EEC has been allocated to particular States; if she will provide particulars; and when such decisions are likely to be made.

Mr. Tomlinson

This increase in the fourth European Development Fund is provided for three new accessions to the Lomé Convention—Papua New Guinea, Sao Tome and Principe and Cape Verde. I expect decisions to be taken early in the new year on the broad division of the money between them.
