§ 40. Mr. Temple-Morrisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, further to the reply by the Prime Minister, Official Report, 29th November, column 264, whether it is his intention to accept and implement the recommendations on police pay by the Edmund-Davies inquiry when they are made.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesAs agreed with the Police Federations on 27th October, the Government are committed to accept the conclusions of the Edmund-Davies committee on pay subject only to consideration of the phasing of their implementation.
