§ Mr. EadieStatistics on coal and oil consumption at public supply power stations in the United Kingdom are published by my Department monthly in Energy Trends and annually in Digest of United Kingdom Energy Statistics. Figures for 1974 to 1976, together with estimates of the outturn for 1977, are given in the table below. For 1978 and 1979, on present estimates, consumption 495W of these fuels is not expected to change significantly from current levels.
