Mr. Penhaligon

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what percentage of the adult British working population earn more or less per week than each of the following amounts: £500, £250, £200, £175, £150, £125, £100, £90, £80, £70, £60, £50, £40 and £30.

The New Earnings Survey indicates that in April 1977 among full-time adults whose pay for the reference pay period was not affected by absence and who were members of PAYE schemes, the percentages, with gross weekly earnings less than the amounts specified, were:
