§ Mr. GoldingMy Department's employment statistics are analysed according to the Minimum List Headings of the Standard Industrial Classification and in this timber using is not specified as a separate industry. The following table shows the numbers of employees in employment in certain industries which make particular use of timber, that is timber (MLH 471), furniture and upholstery (MLH 472), shop and office fitting (MLH 474), wooden containers and baskets (MLH 475) and miscellaneous wood and cork manufactures (MLH 479).
