§ Mr. Ashleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what was the average expenditure per 1,000 population by local authorities in England on aids, adaptations and telephones, for disabled people for the last year for which figures are available; and if he will list expenditure per 1,000 population of the 10 local authorities with the highest per capita expenditure and the 10 local authorities with the lowest per capita expenditure.
