§ Mr. Alfred MorrisOur estimate of trebling the former £13 million expenditure on mobility help for disabled people is based on the expectation that about 100,000 people between five and pensionable age will qualify. We hope to complete the phasing in this age range during 1979. The estimate of trebling expenture takes no account of my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer's statement on 22nd July about a further increase in the mobility allowance next year.
