HC Deb 28 May 1976 vol 912 c454W
Mr. Andrew F. Bennett

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what proportion of dwellings in England and Wales and in each district of Greater Manchester still have lead water pipes; what steps are being taken to encourage their replacement; and what estimate of the amount of lead found in human blood can be attributed to lead pipes.

Mr. Denis Howell

As this is a very complex question I will write to my hon. Friend as soon as I can.
