HC Deb 04 March 1976 vol 906 c744W
Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what representations he has received from employers' organisations regarding the frustration, due to incomes policy, of important measures to improve industrial relations performance; and what reply he has given.

Mr. Booth

The Department has received no formal representations, although I am aware that observance of the pay policy can interfere with measures to improve industrial relations. However, the success of the anti-inflation policy is essential if we are to achieve industrial recovery.
