asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection when the paper on the accident surveillance system mentioned in the consultative document on consumer safety will be available.

Copies of this paper, which describes proposals for the collection of information on accidents in the home, together with a brief analysis of the results of a pilot study in this field, are now available. Copies have been placed in the Library of each House and further copies are obtainable from my Department on request.
