§ Mr. DellA number of countries are currently pursuing policies which seek to restrain wages effectively as a central part of their wider counter-inflation strategy. They include Belgium, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway. The details of the policies differ widely, reflecting the particular problems of each country, and they are meeting with varying degrees of success.
