§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer to what extent the Government's economy cuts will reduce the number of civil servants generally, and in his Department in particular, with salaries above £6,000 per annum.
§ Mr. Robert SheldonI would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given by my hon. Friend on 23rd February. In common with all Departments a thorough review of all aspects of the work in my Department is being held, but it is too early yet to say what the outcome may be.
