§ Mr. Harry EwingOn 11th June, 81 inmates were held in Scottish prisons—71 of them in Longriggend Remand 175W Institution—who were either under 16 or whose sixteenth birthdays fell after 1st January 1976. Depending on school leaving dates in their home areas, a few in the latter category would no longer be of school age.
