§ Sir George Youngasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what will be the extra cost to the National Health Service of using the 1,000 pay beds, to be withdrawn under Clause 3 of the Health Services Bill.
§ Dr. OwenIf these beds were used to the same extent by National Health Service patients the cost to the service would be broadly of the same order as hitherto.
