§ Dr. Glynasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if, in the light of the appeal by parents against the decision of Berkshire Education Authority that certain children should not be allowed entry to Windsor Grammar School and in view of the fact that the headmaster is satisfied that there is sufficient accommodation and teaching staff available for some or all of such children, he will exercise his powers of direction under Section 68 of the Education Act 1944.
Mr. MalleyThe complaints which I have received in this connection are being considered in my Department. I shall require further detailed information before I can judge whether there is any ground on which I could intervene.
