§ Mr. David Watkinsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will review the hospital facilities available to consultants contracted to the National Health Service with a view to achieving a more equitable distribution of such facilities;
(2) if he will establish a working party to consider methods of distributing avail 80W able resources between area health authorities in England, similar to that set up by the Secretary of State for Wales.
§ Dr. OwenThe hospital facilities available to consultants depend upon the allocation and distribution of NHS resources. I have already established a working party to examine disparities in NHS resources in England and I would refer my hon. Friend to my replies to my hon.
