§ Sir D. Kaberryasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what provision is being made in her estimates of hospital expenditure for 1976–77 to provide for the continuation of preliminary work already started in connection with phase 1 of the rebuilding proposals for the General Infirmary at Leeds.
§ Dr. OwenWe have not yet been able to notify regional health authorities of their capital allocations for 1976–77 to enable them to draw up proposals for their capital programmes for 1976–77 and future years. In the meantime the Yorkshire Regional Health Authority is continuing the planning of the modified phase 1 scheme for the redevelopment with a view to making a start in 1977 provided resources permit and replanning has been completed.
