HC Deb 26 January 1976 vol 904 c35W
Sir D. Kaberry

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what present proposals she has for the provision of a medical health centre in Meanwood, Leeds 6; and what provision is being made in the allocation of funds for this purpose.

Dr. Owen

It is for regional health authorities, in consultation with area health authorities, to decide on health centre schemes in their regions. A scheme of a health centre at Meanwood has been accorded a high priority by the Leeds Area Health Authority (Teaching) and is under consideration for inclusion in the Yorkshire Regional Health Authority's health centre programme for 1976–77 and future years.
