HC Deb 24 February 1976 vol 906 cc117-8W
Mr. Hooley

asked the Prime Minister if, in his capacity as Minister responsible for national security, he will order a special inquiry into the activities of BOSS—South African Bureau of State Security—within the United Kingdom.

The Prime Minister

I am aware of allegations which have been made and which my hon. Friend may have in mind. Certain of these are still a matter of police investigation: but if any firm evidence of illegal activities is obtained, appropriate action will be taken.
