32. Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he is satisfied that there are sufficient forces at hand to defend the Falkland Islands and Dependencies from aggression; and whether he will make a statement.

In present circumstances, I believe the existing level of our available forces is reasonable.
