Mr. D. E. Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many factories have been built by the Development Commission in Powys, Meirionnydd and Ceredigion since 1965; and how many jobs have been created in each factory.

Since 1st January 1965, the Commission has financed 23 factories in Powys, Meirionnydd and Ceredigion. Five of these are currently vacant. 469 jobs have been provided.

asked the Secretary of State for Wales haw many advance factories have been built by the Mid-Wales Development Corporation since 1967, and what is the total number of jobs created in each factory.

Up to the end of 1975 the Development Corporation had completed 22 factories, employing 750 people. A further 10 small factories were under construction with a job potential of 150
