HC Deb 09 February 1976 vol 905 c67W
Mr. Stonehouse

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many insured males in England have now exhausted their right to unemployment benefit; and if he will express this as a percentage of the total unemployed in England.

Mr. O'Malley

The number of registered unemployed males in England who at 3rd November 1975, the latest date for which information is available, had exhausted title to flat-rate unemployment benefit was 125,400. This represented 14.1 per cent. of the total number of registered unemployed persons in England at that date.
