§ Mr. HoramThe estimated total economic costs of personal injuries arising out of road accidents are set out below. They include the lost output of those killed or injured, medical and ambulance costs and a minimum allowance for pain, grief and suffering. The estimates are based on average costs in the financial years concerned.
