§ Mr. MeacherThe British Overseas Grade Board's schemes of support for the promotion of exports generally require the sponsorship of a trade association or other recognised body and these sponsors are required to accept participation from members and non-members alike. In circumstances where there is no appropriate sponsor and where the board is satisfied that a particular promotion is desirable, the board is usually able to arrange sponsorship. All participants in the board's overseas promotions are 519W eligible for the same assistance, which varies according to the scheme in question and the location of the market.
