asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he expects the public inquiry into proposals for the revised route of the A38-A5111, Allestree Line Road, Derby, to be held during 1976.

No. The statutory objection period does not expire until 8th October. Much will depend on the nature and volume of objections, but mid 1977 is probably the earliest date for a public inquiry.
