asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will specify the nature of the defence agreement with Kenya.

Mr. Mason

We have no formal defence agreement with Kenya. Under arrangements made in 1964, British forces train in Kenya from time to time, and Kenyan service personnel undergo training in this country.
