Mr. Litterick

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish in the Official Report figures showing the remissions of sentences granted to Mr. Ronald Edwards, Mr. Roy James, Mr. James White, Mr. James Hussey, Mr. Thomas Wisbey, Mr. Roger Cordrey and Mr. Gordon Goody, who were convicted for their involvement in the great train robbery.

Following conviction of a further offence and the imposition of a sentence of six months, Mr. Edwards' parole licence was revoked. Following a recommendation of the Parole Board he will be released again shortly—about 10 weeks later than his earliest date of release under the six months' sentence.
