HC Deb 12 May 1975 vol 892 c54W
Mr. Crawford

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what powers he has to direct regional and district authorities in Scotland to open local offices part-time or full-time in those towns which, until 15th May 1975, were classed as small burghs;

(2) which towns in Scotland which were until 15th May 1975 classed as small burghs will not have local offices part-time or full-time under the new regional and district authorities.

Mr. William Ross

The choice of office locations is within the discretion of the new local authorities and I regret that I do not have the detailed information requested.
