§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) if he will publish in the Official Report statistics showing the growth of various classifications of staff of the Central Electricity Generating Board and the South of Scotland Electricity Board, respectively, over the last 10 years;
(2) if he will publish in the Official Report statistics showing the comparative construction performances of the Central Electricity Generating Board and the South of Scotland Electricity Board;
(3) what is the number of staff employed per megawatt of capacity and per megawatt of annual generation in the Central Electricity Generating Board and the South of Scotland Electricity Board, respectively.
§ Mr. EadieSuch information as is readily available may be derived from the published annual reports—and associated statistics—of the boards. If the hon. Member requires further information, I suggest that he approaches the chairmen of the boards, who have responsibility for these matters. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and I have drawn their attention to these Questions.
