§ 32. Mr. Watkinsonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the total value of the oil subsidy which has been paid to the glasshouse growers.
§ Mr. StrangOil subsidy payments made to growers of glasshouse crops and mushrooms to date for fuel used during 1974 amount to some £6 million. It is not possible readily to distinguish expenditure between the two sectors but most will be for glasshouse crops.
§ 38. Mr. Blakerasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether the EEC Council of Ministers has yet taken a decision about the Commission's draft regulation for the glasshouse sector of the horticulture industry; and if he will make a statement.

Mrs. Millie Millerasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether the re-examination of the EEC Commission's draft regulations on glasshouse demolition grants has yet been completed; and if he is yet able to make a further statement on the Government's policy towards such proposals.
§ Mr. StrangThe Council of Ministers considered the draft regulation at their meeting in June. My right hon. Friend was one of several Ministers who found it unacceptable and the Commission is reconsidering it.
