HC Deb 17 July 1975 vol 895 c604W
Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many industrial injuries, notified to his Department, occurred in the area covered by the Macclesfield constituency during the last period of 12 months for which figures are available; and how many of these injuries were due to the non-observance of safety regulations, or the absence of safety clothing, gear or equipment.

Mr. Harold Walker

I am advised by the Chairman of the Health and Safety Commission that 331 industrial accidents occurring in the constituency were notified to Her Majesty's Factory Inspectorate during 1974. The supplementary information requested is not available.
