Mr. Normanton

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will announce the names of those to serve on the Waste Management Advisory Council referred to in the Green Paper. "War on Waste."

I would refer the hon. Member to the written reply to my hon. Friend, the Member for Ilford, North (Mrs. Miller) on 16th December 1974—[Vol. 883, c.358–9.] Three further appointments have since been announced. These are: Dr. J. W. Barrett, Director, Monsanto Limited. Dr. R. L. P. Berry, Chairman, ALCOA of Great Britain Limited, Professor G. Goodman, Professor of Applied Biology, Chelsea College of Technology.
