§ Mr. Robert SheldonThe administration of hydrocarbon oil duty is carried out by Customs and Excise staff as a part of their general work in the control and collection of the revenue duties. The estimated annual cost of administering all the revenue duties—estimated to yield £4,985 million in 1975–76—is £25.5 million. The estimated yield for hydrocarbon oil duty in 1975–76 is £1,550 million.
