§ Mr. John SilkinRepresentatives of my Department and of those of my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Scotland and Northern Ireland and of my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Wales attended the Amsterdam Congress which was useful and successful. We have carefully noted the terms of the Declaration which it approved, and although many of its objectives have already been achieved in this country we are now considering how best to ensure that we do not lose the impetus of European Architectural Heritage Year.
