asked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will list the special industry schemes and investment projects to be financed from the £100 million set aside for this purpose in the Budget.

Schemes for the clothing, machine tool and ferrous foundry industries have been announced. In addition, a number of projects involving deferred investment are being examined, and offers to the first of these will be made shortly. Other possible schemes and projects are being considered.
