§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieIt would not be in accordance with normal practice to disclose payments to particular companies since to do so would breach commercial confidence. Grants or loans totalling £10.4 million have been offered under the Industry Act 1972 since February 1974 to the following enterprises contrary to the advice of advisory boards:—
- Meriden Motorcycle Co-operative
- Kirkby Manufacturing Co. Ltd.
- Scottish News Enterprises Ltd.
- Bear Brand Ltd.
