HC Deb 07 August 1975 vol 897 cc359-60W
Mr. Frank R. White

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many dwellings completed in the first four months of 1975 were specifically designed for chronically sick and disabled people; and how many of those completed in 1974 were so designed.

Mr. Armstrong

Local authorities and housing associations in England and Wales completed 136 dwellings specifically designed for chronically sick and disabled people during the first quarter of 1975. The number completed in 1974 was 503.

These figures are to be compared with the total of 246 completions in the period from the passing of the 1970 Act to March 1974.
