Mr. Clemitson

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what categories of workers, such as the disabled, learners and young workers, are not eligible for the basic adult minimum wage rate in each of the following Wages Council industries; and what are the numbers of workers in each category in each industry: ready-made and wholesale bespoke tailoring, dressmaking and women's light clothing (England and Wales), dressmaking and women's light clothing (Scotland), wholesale mantle and costume making, shirtmaking, corset, retail bespoke tailoring (England and Wales), retail bespoke tailoring (Scotland), hat, cap and millinery, and rubber-proofed garment making.
