HC Deb 25 November 1974 vol 882 cc77-8W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is her policy towards the Disablement Income Group's objective of securing (1) an expense allowance for all disabled people, (2) an allowance for disabled housewives, (3) a full invalidity pension for the disabled people of working age whose disabilities prevent their earning anything, and (4) a wages settlement for disabled people whose earning power is reduced as a result of disability.

Mr. Alfred Morris

I would refer the hon. Member to my right hon. Friend's report to Parliament on "Social Security Provision for Chronically Sick and Disabled People"—House of Commons Paper No. 276 of 1974—which set out the Government's views on these matters.
