§ Mr. Sedgemoreasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will amplify his Budget statement by stating what upper limit he intends to put on the funds made available to the Department of Industry to use during the current financial year under the Industry Act 1972.
§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieMy Department's present Estimates provision for542W expenditure under the Industry Act in 1974–75 is £417.5 million. If additional funds are required parliamentary authority will be sought in the usual way.
