§ Mr. Cantasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will publish an estimate of the loss to the balance of payments of the activities in Great Britain of the Italian Mafia as a consequence of the collection of expatriate funds and 563W their use for the purchase of antiques and subsequent export to Italy.
§ Mr. DeakinsI am unable to make an estimate. If my hon. Friend has any evidence of the operations of the Mafia in this country I suggest that he should pass it on to the police.
