Mr. Craigen

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what percentage of United Kingdom exports has been sold to the OPEC bloc during each of the past five years.

Mr. Deakins

Using the current membership of OPEC throughout, following are the percentages:

1969 5.5
1970 5.0
1971 5.5
1972 5.8
1973 5.7

For the first 10 months of 1974 the figure was 6.2 per cent.
