§ Dr. OwenIn the past the treatment to be given to private patients and any interval between referral and admission have usually been arranged directly between the patient and doctor and as a consequence have not regularly been included in NHS statistical returns. NHS statistics cannot therefore at present provide the information sought by my hon. Friend.
