§ Mr. Whiteheadasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to complete discussions with local authorities on his Department's consultative document on proposed heavy lorry routes.
§ Mr. MulleyI asked for comments on the consultation paper by 15th November. There has been a very good response. Analysis of the replies will take some time and will have to be followed by further discussions with local authorities and other interested parties. Decisions will be made as soon as possible, but I cannot yet say how long this will take.
