asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what studies he has set up on motorways as nature reserves;

(2)if he will take steps to ensure the continuance and spread of plant life on Great Britain's motorways;

(3)if he will take steps to ensure the continuance and spread of insect life on Great Britain's motorways;

(4)if he will take steps to ensure the continuance and spread of animal life on Great Britain's motorways.
