§ Mr. HattersleyAs my right hon. Friend told my hon. Friend the Member for Wolverhampton, North-East (Mrs. Short) on 27th March—[Vol. 871, c.118.] —we are not proposing a fixed timetable for the renegotiation and it is impossible to forecast with any accuracy the date by which our renegotiation discussions will be complete.
§ 39. Mr. Michael Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what consultations he has had with the Danish Government about Her Majesty's Government's policy of renegotiation of the terms of EEC membership.
§ Mr. HattersleyMy right hon. Friend had useful discussions with the Danish Foreign Minister on 2nd May. We are also maintaining close contact through the normal channels.
