§ 39. Sir D. Dodds-Parkerasked the Secretary of State for Industry what proposals he has for increasing the collection and utilisation of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap.
§ Mr. MeacherRecycled scrap already makes a substantial contribution to supplies of raw materials to the metallurgical industries. The Government fully recognise the need to make the6W maximum use of scrap, and are financing research and co-operating with industry in seeking ways of achieving even higher levels of recovery.
